James Cain Obituary

Cain, James William
84, of Mesa, AZ, went to be with the Lord March 24, 2012. Jim was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, and mostly grew up in the Indiana/Kentucky area. He moved to Arizona in 1962 and made his profession in Real Estate. He eventually became a Real Estate Broker in Scottsdale with his own office, Cain and Lee. He was very active in the Scottsdale Board of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service until his retirement. He had a great love of fishing and traveling and he and Jane took full advantage of both. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Cain in 1970 and his mother Ilma Cain Hyde in 2003. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Jane; his daughter: Barbara A. Goins; his son, James W. Cain II; stepson: William D. Reeder and his wife Dawn; and stepdaughter: Kathi R. Reder and her husband, Joe. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A private memorial celebration is being held in his home for family and friends April 14, 2012 at 3:00 pm. Local arrangements were entrusted to Melcher Mission Chapel, 6625 E.
