Bill Burchett Obituary

Burchett, Bill
Bill W. Burchett, devoted father, brother, husband and grandfather passed away peacefully on December 1, 2008 at the age of 73. He was born in Coweta, Oklahoma on May 8th, 1935 and shortly thereafter moved with his family to Arizona. He met and married the love of his life, his wife Clara B. Burchett on November 25, 1955. They were married for over 50 years until Clara died in July 2006. Bill loved his work in sales with the Seven-Up Corporation for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, debating politics with his daughter and was a big fan of John Wayne and all movies western. He is survived by his daughter, Leanna McDonald; granddaughter, Paige Shoop; son in law, Byron McDonald; and sisters, Luedine Wilcox and Mattie Foti. Bill never knew a stranger and is also survived by many, many friends who loved him. All of us will remember his cheerful attitude and infectious
laughter. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, December 8, 2008 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale with interment following at West Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Ave., Glendale.
