Bryan was a good man filled with love for God, his church, family, and friends. He was our neighbor and more importantly OUR FRIEND. I feel honored to say his last day was spent with my family. We hold happy memories of that day that truly will be cherished forever and ended entirely to soon. My wish is the family and each person touched by Bryan’s precious life will hold close to their own sweet memories. We are continuing to pray that God will grant peace -n- strength to this entire family thru this horrible loss.

I remember once when we were children, Bryan came to my house after school. I had invited him because my mother had recently acquired an organ, and Bryan could play. I remember watching his hands, and being a trumpet player myself, I was amazed how coordinated he was - that he used both hands to make music. I was jealous of that, but even then Bryan projected an inner peace and calm - like he always had everything under control - it almost seemed he was immune from the childhood drama occurring around him. He invited me to events many times - even a dance once, and because of him I joined the scouts. I didn't know, then, that Heavenly Father was working through him - planting seeds.

Bryan served; And because Bryan served, he touched people... changed them. I am grateful I spent a part of my childhood around him, because Bryan's way was not to rush in and make a big impact on something or someone, pushing for instant and drastic change that would only revert back into place. Bryan would simply be there, like so many ripples in a pond, until the ripples grew to waves crashing against the shore. Bryan listened closely to the still, small voice, but his peaceful inertia was a powerful influence.

I do not know who else Bryan touched in his life, but I can promise you... there were many.

I shall never forget Bryan. He was the undoubtedly one of the brightest and most pleasurable boys that was in my room. I only regret I didn't know him better as a man. He will be missed.

People and places and things change, but the Spirit is Eternal. Bryan will never be forgotton. He left his mark on the world and on so many people. I hope the love and comfort you feel from everyone who knew and loved Bryan comforts the family. He is still the bright star in the sky that he always was.
