To all of Charlie's family,
I was very saddened to read of Charlie's passing. I met him at a singles dance several years ago and we became friends. I convinced him to join the Sons of Italy in Mesa and he attended many of our meetings, picnics and festivals. He always seemed happy and full of life. We especially enjoyed it when he played and sang for us. He was verytalented for sure.
One day at a picnic, he even composed a song for me. I still have a signed photo of him with his band. He was so proud of it.
All of my memories of Charlie are fond ones. I don't think he ever made an enemy. We lost touch in recent months but I still rememeber him fondly. Please know that he was very special and will be missed by many.
My deepest sympathy,
Mary Lou Hatin
