Renee and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I consider myself lucky to have had the pleasure of working with Jeff for so many years. I will never forget his smile, his sense of humor and his laugh. We worked through some extremely challenging times back in the early days of the ramp at AWA, and Jeff helped to make it a fun place to be despite the challenges.
My prayers are with Jeff and you, his family. He will truly be missed...
God bless you all!

Rene...Jeff's Christian witness and love for the Lord was evident to both of us in the short time we were together during our SBC activities. In his Tanzania stories it was clear his love and concern for you and the kids. We will surely miss him and want you to know that we stand with you as brothers and sisters in Christ in lifting you, Skylar and Trevor up in prayer. We know that God will wrap His arms around you and that you will be able to find peace under His wings. Jeff is now "flying" as a Captain to Christ and setting new altitude records I'm sure. Jeff's love for Christ was evident and his ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable was an incredible gift! God's peace and love surround you in this difficult time.

Renee - Peder and I were so very, very sorry to hear about Jeff's sudden passing. You and your children are in our thoughts and prayers. I just always remember Jeff's smile and how instrumental he was for Peder in their accountability group. I know that you have a long road ahead of you, but may the assurance that Jeff is most certainly with his Lord provide you comfort and strength.

Although I only know you as one of my WILD sisters, from speaking to you it was clear the love your family had for one another. I pray that as you begin to move through this unexpected season of grief, that God will feel bigger to you than ever and that you will be able to rest under His wing of grace and peace.
Your WILD sister,

I had the honor and privledge of working with Jeff over the course of the past two and a half years as an adult leader with Boy Scout Troop 30. Jeff was a good man and he will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched in the all too short time he was with us. May God bless and comfort all the members of the Gross family, Jeff's co-workers, friends, and fellow troop members during this difficult time.

I only knew Jeff a little while, but he reflected Christ in the way he could make you feel comfortable and his smile lit up the room. May our Lord give you sweet thoughts to comfort you at this time.

As a father, my condolences to you and your children. I barely knew Jeff but he was so easy to like. And yes...he was always smiling. I appreciate all his common sense hard work here at AWA. As I constantly here his name mentioned here at work...you can know that he is terribly missed by many. He made his mark...

so sorry for Jeff's family and friends. I knew Jeff way back when he was our paper boy in the 70's. My mom then worked at Greenway Jr high and followed him also working at AWA. Such a wonderful guy, always had a smile and remembered the people that had been placed in his life. RIP Jeff!-Maureen Mazurczyk and her mom Karen.

Jeff, Rene, Skylar and Trevor lived in our community until a few years ago, and all of us who were neighbors and friends of this wonderful family are devastated by this sad news. The Gross family is still talked about and considered part of our neighborhood, even two years after they moved. Jeff was always there to help anyone who needed his expertise in fixing literally anything that needed repair, or building anything that needed to be built, and our "Tool Man" will be missed greatly and remembered forever fondly. Jeff and his family set a positive and inspirational example for all of us, and his passing once again inspires those who knew him to regard life as precious and to pay attention to the things that are truly important. The consensus among the other guys in the neighborhood is that the Pearly Gates must have needed some serious repair work, and the Good Lord felt compelled to call on Jeff as the only one capable of fixing them. A short life, maybe, but a life well-lived. This was an exemplary man and we are blessed to have had him for the time that we did. His influence will stay with us forever. Our deepest condolences to Rene, Skylar, Trevor, and family.

I LOVED Jeff! He was full of positive energy and always wore an infectious smile. I always thought how wonderful it was that he worked his way up from being a ramper, all the way up to Captain. What an accomplishment! He was always so confident too. I always knew I was safe when he was in the flight deck. He will be missed so much!
Within all of this, know that love is the one thing that never dies. It is the greatest thing that connects us all. The love you shared together, the love you shared as a family will be with you always....just a heartbeat away.
