Ronald Raymond Moyers passed away April 11, 2012 in Chandler Arizona. Ron was born on May 6th 1950 to Dorothy (Morrison) and Donald Moyers in Washington PA. Ron served in the 101st Airborne Division 502nd PIR in the United States Army. He served a tour in Vietnam and received 2 Bronzed Stars and a Purple Heart. Skydiving was his love, he had well over a 1000 jumps. Ron grew up in Chicago Illinois and lived most his life there. He was a lifetime fan of The Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He loved going to the games as well as watching them. He is survived by his mother Dorothy Erbach and step-father Daniel Erbach , A daughter, Nichole Moyers (Jason Mullen) of Chandler Arizona, and a grand-daughter Addesyn Mullen of Chandler Arizona. Four brothers, Richard (Stephania) of Arizona, Donald (Peggy) of Florida, Nicholas (Terry) of Washington and Frank also of Washington. He was employed at Coulter Motor Company in Tempe, Arizona as an Sales Manager. He was a wonderful Son, Father, Grand-Father, Uncle, Brother, and a Great Friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Ron was preceded in death by his father Donald Moyers. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2pm at The Legacy Funeral Home located at 1374 N Arizona Ave., Chandler Arizona. A separate Memorial will be held May 6th 2012 in Chicago, Illinois.

Some of my best memories are working at Para-Gear and skydiving w/ Ronnie. He was one funny, crazy man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family but I know they have many great memories to help them through this difficult time. He most certainly will be missed.

Ronnie was a Chicago Character in the true sense of the word. We are in shock at Para-Gear where he worked for several years and kept in contact with us after he left here. We have many fun memories of Ronnie. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
