Stella M. Kraemer, age 92, former secretary for Copper State Machinery Company, Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Friday, July 16, at Pleasant Springs Healthcare Center in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Stella was born in Sheboygan, WI, on March 9, 1918, and resided in Fond du Lac, WI until she moved with her family to Phoenix in 1953. In January of 2003 she took residence at Mount Pleasant Assisted Living Facility in Mount Pleasant, Texas, and was subsequently moved to Pleasant Springs Healthcare Center in the same city. She is survived by two children, Karen K. Gruenwald (Gary) of Fond du Lac, WI and Kent H. Kraemer, LCDR U.S. Navy, retired, (Sudawan) of Mercedes, TX; four grandchildren, Thomas Gruenwald (Lisa) of Campbellsport, WI; Kristin Schwartz (Trevor) of Fond du Lac, WI; Christopher Kraemer (Sharon) of Midlothian, TX; and Alisa Lessard (David) of Flanders, N.J; and nine great-grandchildren: Alyssa and Brianna Gruenwald; Robert and Noah Schwartz; Kara, Christian, and Kylee Kraemer, and Tyler and Emily Lessard. Stella was preceded in death by her loving husband Carl L. Kraemer; her daughter, Carla Sue Kraemer, R.N.; her brother Orville Walsh; and a sister, Amber Kircher. Funeral services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden, Scottsdale, AZ, on Thursday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m.. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m. preceding the funeral.
