Kevin McCoy Obituary
Kevin Michael McCoy, age 50, passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday, September 2nd. Kevin was born in Springfield, IL and graduated from Auburn High School, Auburn, IL in 1979. He moved to Phoenix in 1979 and married Lisa Young in 1982. They just celebrated 30 years of marriage. Kevin was an electrician for 30 years. In March 2007, he started and co-owns A&K Electric with partner and dear friend Andrew (Cherie) Nielsen. His interests included camping and fishing, racing and travel. His greatest joy was RV'ing with his family, especially making memories with his granddaughter Eden. Kevin is survived by his wife Lisa Young McCoy, daughters Karen & Kayla McCoy, granddaughter Eden Copp, mother Alma Tomarelli, brother Greg McCoy, and cousin Leah McCoy (all of Phoenix); father Frank McCoy and sister Tiffany McCoy of Virden, IL. Also surviving is a very large extended family, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, 6 brother-in-laws, and 3 sister-in-laws. Kevin is preceded in death by his step-father Charles Tomarelli. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 9th at 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd. Peoria, AZ. Kevin had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh.
