When I received this email so many memories of Joe came to mind, "he was may college dad". He care for all of us students and co-workers. There was one, "one of few". I got my hand on a taser gun, not the ones that shoot. Anyway Joe found out and gave me a call me and asked me to bring the taser gun to his office, and didn't take it to him, "I thought I would just take it home". Well sent two of his security guards escort me to his office with the taser and lectured me and told me that, "whoever would attempt to attack you could just take it away and use it on you". So he confiscated it. So many memories have been coming to mind. He care for all of us. So many great memories! He was the college dad. Dahlia

Rosa, I am saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Joe inspired many of us who came to know him. I will never forget when he welcomed me and my son Nick to help with C3HR. That was our first community involvement in Chandler. Joe cared about everyone and lead by example to make our community a better place. From the numerous Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua races to the Annual Mariachi concerts he was making a difference. He will never be forgotten and will be missed. The musica must keep playing!! My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
