Anyway Joe found out and gave me a call me and asked me to bring the taser gun to his office, and didn't take it to him, "I thought I would just take it home". I am very sad to hear that my closes friend through High School has passed to be with his Parents and brothers. I am also sorry we did not keep in touch. I loved Joe like a Brother, that is why I named my only son after him. Rosie, I will Pray for you and all of Joe's family and friends. May the Lord be with all of you. May God's
new Gardian Angel be with all of us.

Rosie and family, I just learned of Joe's death. In reading all of the condolences from his many colleagues you should be gratified to know how many he helped and befriended. He had wisdom and insight and used it well. So sorry to hear of his passing.

My deepest sympathy to the Garcia family. God bless you at this time of sorrow.

Joe was my lt for 2 or 3 years. One of the best supervisors I had. Learned alot from him.

I worked with Jose Garcia at the Mesa Police Department. My deepest sympathy to the Garcia family.

I worked with Joe during his entire career at Mesa PD. My original badge was #66 and his was 67. Joe served in Viet Nam and was a hero by any standards. I shall miss this honest and kind man. I shall light a candle at St. Anne's for my friend.
