Decky Runnels Obituary
Heaven gained a beautiful angel on March 20, 2014. Decky was born in Pontiac, IL on November 20, 1957 to Donald Sr. and Jeanette Krohn. She graduated from Washington High School in Phoenix, AZ in 1975. Decky was an amazing daughter, wife, sister, mother, mema, aunt, cousin and friend. In 1974 she gave birth to her only daughter, Cory Lang. She met the love of her life, Bryan Runnels, while working at Jack in the Box and they married on September 10, 1977. She had her sons Ryan Runnels in 1979 and Daryn Runnels 1982. Decky lived a life full of love and compassion. She is survived by her loving parents, Donald Sr. and Jeanette Krohn; her best friend and husband Bryan Runnels; 3 amazing children and their spouses Cory Lang (Mike), Ryan Runnels (Gena) and Daryn Runnels (Sheena); 8 grandchildren who had her heart - Tyan, Sage, Kali, Jadyn, Jordan, Taryn, Patrick and Cherish; Sisters Deone McClure (Bob) and Debbie Howard (Mike); Brother Dan Krohn (Sandy); and several nephews, nieces, and cousins who she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed and loved for eternity. Rest in Peace. Mommy, I have felt your presence since you passed away. You have been at our house watching over the kids. Heaven gained the most precious, beautiful angel. You are missed so much by those that loved and cared about you. You will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for the precious 39 years I did get to spend with you.
