Such a kind man. A huge part of my elementary years at Barcelona. I hope the family feels the love being sent.

One update to the web address I listed below. It appears the "https" part was wrong. I should have written "http" instead, or left it out entirely. The web address should be www.snubble.com/markwoodruff.html. You might need to re-write that by hand instead of copy-and-pasting it. I might also create additional pages and formats for ongoing memorials and tributes to Mark Woodruff.

I'm not sure if my last message went through. This page will go down on August 4. I am making a memorial page, which will be located at snubble dot com slash markwoodruff dot html. I wrote it that way in case this site is filtering web addresses out.

Mark, You are missed and I think about you often. Every Sunday watching golf you are on my mind and I want to talk to you about the games. I miss all our phone calls and talks. You made me laugh and I loved all the Wally cartoons you would tell me about daily. You were a true friend. You were like a brother I never had. You will forever be in my heart.

Here is a little holiday silliness from my late father Mark Woodruff. As most of you know, he drew cartoons of the mouse Wally. Here is a cartoon he sent to my family a few years ago and we've had on our refrigerator ever since. Sure it's a bad pun, but the awfulness of the pun is part of the fun. I really miss my dad during this holiday season. I hope all of you who knew him are doing well.

so overcome to learn about Mark. My brother and I grew up across the street on Tulane Rd from Mike, Mark and Diane. I still have the pencil drawing Mark did for me of Palatin because I loved the TV show. I framed it and it has hung in various places through the years. The unspeakable happened to one of least deserving. Love and Prayers to you always.

Can't believe that next week my Uncle Mark will have been gone for 3 months. Missing him so much it hurts. However, his laughter and love still remains in my heart and my life and always will.

Missing Mark and his alter ego, "Wally". The world lost one of the best. I worked with Mark at the church and we shared many long talks and laughs. I was so privileged to have a "Wally the Church Mouse" cartoon sitting on my desk almost every morning for 10 years. Priceless drawings! So good to see one on this site . . . thanks, Zach. Wish I could pick up the phone and call Mark tonight but am thankful for the memories. Zach and Marcy, what lucky kids to have such a kind, gentle and funny dad. He is missed.

My name is Betsy Woodruff, Mark's sister-in-law and wife of his wonderful twin brother Mike. Even though I only saw Mark once a year on his visits back to Columbus in the fall, phone conversations during the year, kept us in touch. Mark was a sweet, kind, gentle and funny man! I loved the funny perspectives he had on life. I told him several times how fortunate I was to have such a wonderful brother-in-law. I enjoyed, so much, cooking dinners for him on his visits. He was always so appreciative and always offered to help with anything. He is deeply deeply missed by our family and we will never, never forget him. It was such a gift to have had him in our lives and he will always remain in our hearts and minds forever.

Mark was my next door neighbor for 5 yrs, me and my husband were first time home owners and mark was the first friendly face we met on our block. He was funny, kind and so positive all the time, he always took the time to talk to my 4 yr old soon never to busy to stop and say hello. I will never meet a person like mark ever again. He was unique in so may ways, and I am so blessed to have such a beautiful person come into our lives if just for a sort time. He is missed everyday my son misses him he says always "mark is my best friend". ?

Met Mark about 5 yrs ago..at a golf course. I knew we had something in common. We just grew on each other. Got to know Mark as his commitment to his family was genuine as were all his endeavor's. Mark was very transparent and we shared our faith in Jesus Christ without apology. This was our real bond. I really miss my friend, but I know I'll see him again. Mark wasn't materialistic, so he didn't leave much behind. He did however, leave some tracks to follow. My prayers go out to his family and friends whom I've met and didn't meet. God bless you all.

Mark was my best friend, playmate, golf competitor, golf swing instructor, and above all, my identical twin brother for the last 72 years. We were closer than most twins and had almost everything in common. Losing him at this stage of life is extremely devastating not only the way he died but also not being able to share my life and thoughts with him, or have him share his life with me. He was a wonderful brother, kind to everyone he knew or met. He was also a wonderful father to Marcy and Zak and a good grandfather to Charlie and Natalie and Dustin. He was a kind and loving brother to his sister Diane and his sister Susie. I wanted him to be my best man at my wedding to my wife Betsy back in 2004, but being the shy guy he was, he helped out with setting up the chairs for the ceremony and preferred to watch from the back row. I could write another million words expressing how great and wonderful Mark was as my constant companion growing up. We did alot of golfing together and had it not been for him, I wouldn't have worked on my golf game as much and become a golf instructor. His great golf swing was always my inspiration. I will miss my twin for the rest of my life and look forward to seeing him again.

So, so sad that we have lost one of the funniest, kindest, generous, and talented people I have had the privilege to know. We first met Mark about 40+ years ago when he moved his family to Phoenix and while not a full-blood relative, we welcomed him and his family to ours - he was a cousin from my mother's side of the family. I'll always remember his family coming over for holidays and just for fun when we were kids and being able to see him when I would come home to Phoenix for a visit. He will be missed by all of us. My thoughts and prayers go out to Marcy, Zak, Mike, Diane, Suzi, all of his grandchildren and friends. We love and miss you Mark.

Brenda and I send our deepest condolences. Mark was such a kind spirit to me; allowed me to stay with him in his house the summer of '77. When I think of Mark, I think of golf, laughing, Beach Boys songs, drums, "The Chicken Song" on piano, and love of his children and grandchildren (did I mention golf?). You will be missed.

So very saddened about this. I used to work with Mark at Christ the Redeemer Church and I had not recently seen Mark for about 7 years but he was a wonderful man. Ironically his grandson, Dustin and my son, Timothy used to play with each other as Mark's daughter, Marcie lived across the street from my parents in Albuquerque. Mark will be missed by many, including me.

My condolences to Mark's family. I knew Mark since we worked together at Phoenix Magazine. He was delightfully funny and wonderfully sincere and kind. I am saddened to learn of his passing.
