Ronald Finch Obituary
65 of Scottsdale passed away in his home on September 3, 2014. Born in Chicago to the late John and Marie Finch, Ron graduated from the Lawrenceville School, Yale University and the University of Arizona Law School. He is survived by a loving family: daughter Sarah Finch in Chicago, brother Jerry Finch and Family in California, and former spouse Mary and Family in Kentucky. A Memorial Service will be held at the Valley Presbyterian Church Chapel, 6947 E. McDonald Drive on Friday, September 12 at 1:30 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Mortuary.

I only met Ron when he came in to interview for a position with my company. Both the hiring manager & I thought so much of him, we made an offer on the spot. We were both looking forward to him joining our growing organization. Alas, it wasn't to be.

Ron, I have such fond remembrances of you running up and down the field at OLPH games with Nicole and Sarah cheering them on. You always made us laugh. My thoughts are of you and thinking of Sarah and also Mary.

Mr Finch (as I remember him) will always have a spot in my memory as the funny and loving Dad that knew how to make slumber parties at Sarah's house cool with his sarcasm and wit. Sarah, my thoughts are with you and your family during this time.

Ron made my college experience immeasurably better. He invited me to be his roommate, to join in his other activities, to go to meals and trips. Unlike most people at Yale, he was warm, sensitive, clever, intense but with a great sense of humor, particularly about himself. He was interested in all that I did .After college Ron continued stay in touch, but I was too busy and lost track . He was a special friend who made the world a better place.
