Darrell Mock Obituary
Darrell Thomas Mock, passed away at the age of 62 on September 20, 2014. Darrell was born on November 23, 1951 to Earl and Virginia Mock in Tucson. He has been a native of Arizona since. He grew up playing the drums in his Family's band, The Mocking Birds, with his sister, Sheila, and his father, Earl. He worked as a pest control service technician for Beavers Pest Control for over 30 years. Darrell enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He lost his battle to lung cancer after fighting the disease for over two years. Darrell was greeted by his grandson Ethan Mock in heaven and will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 34 years Cheryl Lee Mock, children; Aimee Ewoldt, Tammi McKenna and Seth Mock, grandchildren; Brodie McCarthy, Kenny Kautzman, Kyle Mock, Rylee Ewoldt, Hailee Mock, Alex McKenna, and Macie Ewoldt, and his sister Sheila Vanderpool. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at 1pm Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria.

Darrell you will be missed by many....you have been around since I was a teenager. I know we hadn't seen each other over the last couple of years since you had been unable to work, but we still chatted and texted and kept in touch. You definitely earned your wings with the valiant fight you gave cancer. Grateful for your friendship all these years. Prayers to your family for peace and comfort.
