Belva Green Obituary

Green, Belva
92, passed away on October 13, 2014. Belva spent her childhood years in Ashland, Kentucky in a loving home. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, Emil Green, in 1938 and moved to Phoenix around 1956. They were married 70 happy years. Belva deeply loved Jesus and her family. She devoted most of her married life to family and church, serving many years at Bethel Baptist Church. Belva is preceded in death by her parents, three siblings and husband. She is survived by a daughter Judy married to Michael G. Wright, and beloved grandson Michael C. Wright. Belva will be remembered for her great cooking and loving spirit. She is greatly missed already. Services will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, October 25th at 3 P.M. with a viewing 30 minutes prior to the services.

Judy,
Even though your Mom had many hardships, she put up a good fight to the end. She was very fortunate to have such a loving and caring daughter. You were always there for her. My condolences to you, Mike and Michael.
