Just as an afterthought, to let the family know how much the WGT community thought of Dennis, we are currently hosting the 2nd annual tournament in his honor with over 160 participants. donations are being made to his favorite charity ( Springer rescue ). As a community, we share in your loss, yet, celebrate the life of a wonderful man.

Although not as much recently due to not playing WGT much any more, Andy and I often used to skype and would sometimes spend hours at a time discussing many things, usually WGT related but not always. Having last spoken to him end of June, I sent him a message a few days ago, and when he didn't reply (he usually did) I popped onto WGT to accidentally find the sad news of his passing nearly 3 months ago. Andy was a very intelligent man, a wealth of knowledge, and had a knack of finding information, including information that possibly wasn't meant to be found. But he put it all to good use, proving many a theory, sharing some of it with me, but unfortunately falling on deaf ears of the powers that be. It is a huge loss to the community and he will always be remembered by anyone who knew him. Rest in peace Andy.

I never had the priviledge of running across him ingame at WGT but his forum posts had me laughing until my sides hurt.
I made it a point to look on the forums for his posts before my first shot of the night.
WGT may have considered him a thorn in their sides but I am quite sure that at least some of them were laughing as hard as we were.
He will be sorely missed, remembered, and well respected by those of us that had the chance to witness a life well lived.
RIP Dennis. And thank you for the laughs when I really needed one.

Dennis, or Andyson as we knew him, will be sorely missed by the online golfing community at wgt.com. We just found out about his passing yesterday and his memorial page in the WGT forums is already six pages deep within the first twenty-four hours...a true testament to how well he was liked there.
My sincerest, belated condolences to Andy's family.

I didn't ever have the pleasure to meet Dennis in the flesh. All of our interaction was on WGT the golf game, his favourite online pastime.
His work with graphics and video to entertain everyone in the forums was exceptional, he had a razor sharp wit. He inspired me to take an interest in graphics and multi-media. He encouraged me from the very start ( nearly 5 years ago) to try new things and learn. From then until his passing he continued to help me and freely gave up his time to show me new techniques and tricks.
He was always so patient and giving. My life is richer for having known him I will miss him greatly, as will many hundreds of people who never met him.
My thoughts and prayers go with him and his friends and family.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Denny. While I knew Denny for most of my career at GTE/AGCS, I worked directly for Denny for many years. He had a keen analytic mind and could cut the crux of a problem with great precision.

To the Anderson Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
