I am truly glad the electrical industry had this man in its midst. He had a uplifting way about him that I and many others enjoyed.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing (daughter Cindy, too). Tom & Bev were such good friends back in the 1950s (remember our marathon canasta games) I babysit Cindy, Kimmy & Tammy then (also Jack/Judy's kids). Tom & I water-skied at Canyon Lake and flew model airplanes (U-control stunt & combat) for fun. Tom also took me up in his (rental?) airplane and let me fly it from time to time. He helped me when I went off to college by giving me a drafting set, warm shirts and a heavy leather, wool-lined jacket. He was a wonderful friend! He & Bev even double-dated with me and a mutual friend once. My wife & I (married 55 years) live in Ohio now (son & grandchildren), but we lived in Arizona recently for 19 years. I notice there's a GEIS commercial developer in our neighborhood. Makes me wonder ............

Beverly & Family
I was the salesman for Geis Sales in the Tucson - El Paso territory in the mid to late 70's into the early 80"s. Geis Sales was my first real professional job and Tom taught me everything. And I most likely showed him how new salesmen needed to be trained. He was a mentor that I thought of often. I have been away from Arizona for a very long time, but was planning a visit and thought how great it would be to reconnect, ... sadly that will not happen. Please accept my most sincere condolences for you your loss.
Beverly, my wife and I still use the set of pots and pans that you gave us for our wedding.

Tom and I became good friends during his tenure at Carol Cable when he was our rep. I have fond memories of visiting with Tom and his wife at his home with my wife and children many years ago.

Tom was a fine person.....one of the best in the industry! A class act!

I was deeply sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was a good friend to Jack for so many years and he loved their golf outings all over the Valley and in the White Mts. I know Tom will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. God bless you.

Tommy,
I will miss you always you have been my great
friend for over 55 years. When we met I was just
a dumb kid you were a great friend and mentor.
Way to many great memories to count in business,
and trips to Hawaii together. You will never be forgotten, but misses forever.

The Engler family was so blessed to have Tom and the rest of the Geis family as our neighbors growing up on Weldon. It was kind of a fairy tale!! Those were the good old days! This beautiful smile is the same one we saw everyday as we climbed trees or played hide and go seek in the neighborhood. I'll never forget him swooping me up after I fell off my bike scraping almost half my face off. I was so scared but he calmly and coolly carried me home to safety. Thank you for so many awesome memories.... Rest in Peace Tom!! See you in heaven..... Love you!!!!! XO
