Lorraine Beasley Obituary
69, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on July 23, 2017. Lorraine was an amazing and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, teacher, and friend. After a 30 year career with Qwest Communications, Lorraine began teaching ESL for the Deer Valley School District and was as encouraging and loving to her students as she was to her three sons. She was a sports enthusiast with a great affection for Kansas State. She is survived by sons Anthany Beasley, Jonathan Beasley and his wife Amanda, and Nathaniel Beasley. Grandchildren Tanner Beasley and Olivia Beasley. Her mother Marilyn Unangst, sister Deborah Unangst (Mickey), brothers Thomas Unangst (Linda), Mark Unangst and Joseph Unangst (Mary) as well as several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Lorraine's life will be held this Saturday morning, July 29th 9:00- 11:00 at Cactus High School 6330 W. Greenway Rd, Glendale, AZ. In lieu of flowers and with gratitude the Beasley family is accepting donations to help cover final arrangements.

Saddened to learn of Lorraine's passing. Was neighbor and class of '66 friend in Liverpool, NY. Lots of fun memories, what a great person. We made a great music gym routine to Monday, Monday..laughed through the whole thing. Befriended this newcomer to upstate with kindness.

To the Unangst and Beasley families, I am so sorry for your loss. I went to Most Holy Rosary school with Lorraine, even back then she showed compassion. Lorraine was one of my only school friends and for that I will be always thankful. Rest in Christ's presence Lorraine.
