I will always remember Russell with fondness. He was filled with humor, bright wit, and a teasing gentleness. Doris and Russell were family friends and I knew them both all my life. I will miss him.
My love and best to his wonderful family.

What lucky and blessed little girls we were Jennie to have your Dad in our lives as we were growing up. He will always be remembered to me as a spunky, fun loving Dad who 'lit' up the room when it could seem so dark. He has left some wonderful memories for me. Thanks Russell.

"Of all my friends dads, Russell will be remembered as the most.fun loving and entertaining of them all. Jennie, we were very lucky little girls to have your Dad enrich our lives through the years with his spunky quick wit and funny jokes (always secretly laced with some form of fatherly wisdom and advice if we really listened). Thanks Russell for being a caring Father and Friend to us all." Kris Bradford (Olympia,WA)

Our heartfelt sympathies go to Ron, Kathy and Jennie and their families. We knew Russ through our Dad, Duffy Doolittle and the KCFD. Russ was our Dad's boss and he had the greatest respect for Russ and loved him like a brother. My memories of Russ are a big smile, family get-togethers, vacation to Lake Arrowhead, and watching retiree Russ sorting beans and wrapping meat for the KCFD picnic.
Russ may be gone, but he'll never be forgotten. Love the Doolittle kids, Pat, Rick and Ginger

YES, here was a man. I knew Russ for almost 70 years and I never met a man who was as funny and as value conscious as he was. He and Doris were the best friends I ever had.

My condolences to the family. Though I only knew Russell for a short time, he was an honest and caring man with a good heart. God bless.
