Dorothy Shipe Obituary

Dorothy Mae Shipe (Dot) 1925 - 2010 Dorothy was born March 4, 1925 and passed away October 22, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, and a friend. She was deeply loved and will be missed by many. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Raymond Shipe. She is survived by her sons; Larry Shipe and his wife Becky, Chuck Shipe, and daughter Linda Riggle and her husband Scott. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren. Special thanks to the Parkview Julian staff for the love and care they showed mom during her decline and ultimate passing. Private graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Mortuary on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. Mom, you will be missed. Your family www.bakersfield.com/obits
