Richard Ingram Obituary

Richard Ingram 1929 - 2010 Richard Ingram was born in a log cabin in Atoka, OK, on January 14, 1929. His mother died shortly after his birth. He was raised in the countryside of Oklahoma by his father and grandfather and started helping them split railroad ties at an early age. He moved to Bakersfield and spent his lifetime raising a family, working for the meat packing plant and as a welder in the oilfield. He loved to serve as an usher at both First Assembly and Northland Assembly. He was known as Mr. Fix-it because there wasn't anything he wouldn't tackle, loved gardening, and taking care of his many pets. Richard is survived by his wife, Mae; daughter, Sandra; stepson, Roger; brother, Albert; several grandchildren and many close friends and neighbors. Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4th, 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Mausoleum and viewing will be Friday from 4-8 p.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary. www.bakersfield.com/obits
