Daddy, years keep passing without you. I have 14 grandkids that I wish could have had more time with you. Some who will know you through our memories. I remember the first time you and I walked into the home we shared 15 years ago. I am still here with the memories of you and mom. Miss you everyday.

Grandpa, I can’t believe it’s been 13 years since you gained your wings. Seth was in kindergarten and today he finished the crucible and became a Marine and is now a part of your legacy. We live in Colorado and I think you would love it here. We have deer come into your yard and have even had a bear! We get all seasons, it is Tehachapi but on a much bigger scale. I am a social worker now and help children in bad situations, I know you would be proud of how much I’ve evolved. Luke and I talk about you a lot to make sure Faith knows you and grandma. Jon is a senior this year and Kayla is 22 already. I am posting a picture of Seth’s Crucible table so you can see that your picture and Luke’s are there. I know you’ve been watching over us all. Give grandma a kiss for me. Love you beyond this world. Mandy

Grandpa, as we approach your ninth heavenly birthday, I can honestly say your are thought of often. I am reminded of you when its corn season (we had a good one), when a Carrie Underwood song comes on (she is still a wholesome girl), when the Dodgers win a game (theyre 1st in NL West), when random ice falls out of the freezer door, or more importantly when I look at Faith and her sweet love of everything, Im reminded of you. I love you very much and miss you beyond words. Your wedding anniversary is coming up so please give grandma a hug and kiss from all of us while you two dance the streets of heaven! -Mandy

Daddy I miss you so much. Peyton and I are still living in the home you and mom bought. I'm loving it one room at a time as I update it. You would never believe in a million years that I am Mrs. Tommy Gresham again. All is good dad. He is a good Christian man and we raise Peyton and his two grandbabies to love God as you and mom did. Larry is with us now and you would be proud he has come back into the family 100%. Love you. Give mom a kiss.

Hi Daddy, I was really missing you today, so I went online and googled you. The things I read made me smile. :) Are the streets of Heaven really made of gold? I guess I will find out soon enough. You know Phil has really gotten into fishing. We go with Jim and Lorna. Boy has fishing changed. Nothing is the same, but we actually catch more fish! I think of you often when we are out in the boat. I miss those days, and I miss you........

Grandpa, I miss you and grandma so much. I know that you are laughing above because Faith is red haired and awnry like me. Grandma said I better hurry and have her so she could see her and tell you about her in heaven, I barely made the deadline! You know how grandma liked to order us around. I miss you guys and love you!

Dear daddy. It is really hard without you. I try so hard to be the person you would want me to be but here on earth is not the same without your love and guidance. Please continue to watch over us. I feel you near me at times and it is comforting. Love Vicky

Grandpa, It has been almost a year and I really miss you. I feel so lost sometimes, it feels like I can not breathe. I would give anything for one more hug and kiss on the cheek for you. I hope that I am making you proud. I love you so much and can not wait until the day I am with you again, it just doesn't seem soon enough. I love you more than I can ever express. As I am typing this " I can only imagine" came on my headphones, I would like to think that it is you telling me everything will be okay.

Daddy, we really miss you but we want you to know that we all are doing fine. We have had the best teacher of life and we are trying to be the people you would want us to be. You wanted us to meet you in Heaven and that is our goal. We will see you in the blink of an eye.

Odell (Mutt) is a very dear cousin to me. I have known him of all my life. Through the years even though miles separated us we kept in touch. When health permitted his family came to Oklahoma for visits. We had some great visits in telephone conversations and I will miss those telephone calls!! To Alphia, the children and those grands I would like to say, may the Lord comfort your heart and give you the strength needed at this time of great sorrow in your life. Cherish your memories. I love you!

Here's to a great friend. Odell, Dee, Bob and I had many great times together, whether it was bowling, wine tasting ,going to the coast, Vegas, or just doing nothing. He will be greatly missed. He and Dee helped me over some rough times after Bob passed. We can take comfort knowing they are both doing what they loved, talking and bowling. Edith

Odell, You always helped me in life & through school & had times. You always told the truth! No one can grow cotton like you can. My condolences and prayers to the whole family. Every year, at cotton picking time, I think of Odell. I used to ask him, every year, when we bowled together, when the cotton would be harvested, because I knew it meant Fall was coming soon!
God bless you all.

My Daddy was the most kind, caring and dependable man in the world. He was very proud to have served our country,as a Marine, during WWII. He earned the Bronze Star for his heroic efforts. On his 80th birthday, the Marines honored him, and gave me the honor of presenting him with many other medals that he had earned and had not received. They told me he was a hero! Our family always thought of him as one, and I was so very proud to hear that other Marines thought so too. He was so grateful and proud. It is one of my favorite memories. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been on a bowling team with him these past few years. He really enjoyed bowling. We had such fun. He was such a great man and love by all that knew him. I can't imagine life without him, but I have a lifetime of memories and I know he loved the Lord and is with him now.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Alphia. I remember you and Odell from the time I worked for Dr. Hagen (way back in the "old times.") You both had a great sense of humor and I remember you fondly. Take care. I lost my husband 13 years ago and it's hard, but the Lord takes good care of you I know. Audra Miller
