Joyce Cox Obituary

Joyce Cox 1941 - 2010 Joyce was born on October 22, 1941 and left this world on November 12, 2010 to be with our God. Joyce was always happy and smiling and touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her life was her husband, children and grandchildren. Bill and Joyce were married on October 20, 1971 and together raised a blended family that became one. They were blessed to have 40 wonderful years together and they loved to spend time with their children and grandchildren. No matter what her grandkids were involved in she was always there. Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Welborn and brother, Darrell Welborn. Joyce leaves behind her loving husband and soulmate of 39 years, Billy Joe Cox; children, Steve Crooks and wife Tenile, Stacy Crooks, Greg Cox and wife AnneMarie, Debbie Kirschenman and husband Brian; 5 grandchildren, Janelle Cox, Cpl. Matthew Kirschenman USMC, Ryane Cox, Kristyn Kirschenman, Liberty Moore; 1 great grandchild, Addyson Kirschenman. She will be greatly missed by all. The world has lost a beautiful loving woman but our Lord has gained an Angel. Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 17, 10:00 a.m., at Mish Funeral Home Chapel, 120 Minner Ave., followed by Graveside services at Hillcrest Memorial Park. www.bakersfield.com/obits
