Frankie Richardson Obituary

Frankie E. Richardson 1925 - 2010 Frankie went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2010. She was born on March 8, 1925 to John and Ethel Claiborne in Tennessee and moved to California in the 1940's where she made her home in Bakersfield. Frankie is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Claiborne; first husband, Wayne Raulston; second husband Walt Richardson; her sister, Margaret Reynolds; and her brother, Grady Claiborne. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Delbert Parks; grandsons, Erick Parks and Brian Parks and wife Danee; two great grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Parks, all of San Diego; siblings and spouses, Ruth Neese of TN, Georgie and Dick Erickson of Fullerton, Johnie Savee, Dorothy Morland, Dixie Kemp, Atha and Carol Claiborne, Kenneth and Glenda Claiborne, Everette and Sue Claiborne, all of Bakersfield; along with many nieces and nephews. Frankie retired from Mercy Hospital Cafeteria Staff approximately 25 years ago and resided at Lifehouse Parkview for the last 3 1/2 years where she enjoyed socializing with many friends and staff members. Frankie was well loved by all who knew her. She was a loving and generous wife, mother, and nan and adored her two great grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Friday, Dec. 10, 1:00 p.m., at Basham Funeral Care. Reverends Ken and Dale Claiborne will officiate. www.bakersfield.com/obits

Dear Ms Frankie you will never know how much I loved you! You bought joy to my life eveyday at work with your hugs and kisses! Lifehouse will never be the same without you! You are in the arms of Jesus and that is where an Angel is supposed to be! All of the staff and resisdents will always rmember you! It was a great pleasure to know and take of you!
