Well what can I say... I am without words for the void you leave in our hearts. You meant so much to us that it will be very difficult to have BBQ's and be at your home without feeling empty. May our mercyful Lord take good care of you. You were more than a father to Luis and I learned to love you just as much. I don't have a dad and if God would have let me chose one, I would have chosen you. You will live in our hearts forever.

Although I never met Jesus personally, I feel I've always known him as long as I've known his daughter Eva. I knew of his greatness through all the love and respect that Imminated through Eva. I've heard many stories of what a wonderful and loving father Jesus was; but I truly know this to be true as I've seen first hand how wonderful his children turned out.
My sincere condolences to the Hernandez family for such a loss, but what a wonderful gift he has given to all whom have known him and shared in his life. You are his legacy and now is the time to celebrate what he has given you and what he has made you.

How blessed was I to have known this beautiful man. I thank you Joe for sharing your wonderful father and precious mother Socorro with me, Roy, Phillip, Amy & Jen. Your dad, Mr. Hernandez, was the epitome of what a "genuine" father and husband should be. I remember your mom and dad holding Phillip and treating him as a grandchild from the get go, without hesitation they fed him, made him laugh, they shared their home and ranch with all of us....what wonderful precious memories we all have. I still remember Mrs. Hernandez piercing Amy and Jennifers ears with Tia Teresa...priceless!! Phillip and I were reminiscing about what treasured memories he has from visiting the ranch...Jennifer and I were remembering how loving and giving Mr. Hernandez was...Our heart and thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time...Phillip sends his most sincere prayers from Maryland, and Jennifer and I send our love from Monterey...Chewy, Susana, Joe, Keka, and Eva know that your father touched and blessed so many lives...My deepest love and sympathy,

Daddy, I never thought this day would come so soon. I stayed by your side everyday, not wanting you to leave us. But you were tired and Mom was calling you home. I miss you so bad my heart aches for you. I miss your smile, laugh, wisdom, advice, our daily conversations. Please watch over us. I will continue to live my life with your values and integrity that you taught me. You leave behind an awesome legacy. There are too many people to count that you made an impact with. I am empty, sad, and lonely without you daddy. Don't worry about us, your children. You and Mom taught us to stay united, to stay together, to lean on one another. We are doing that now. I am grateful for the father you were. I couldn't have been more blessed. Tatianna and Monique will never forget their grandpa. We will keep your memory alive forever. Fly, Daddy, fly.....
