All of us lost a really sweet guy when Ken checked out. He MC'd the last 1942
Class Reunion I attended. I've known him
since we were quite young. I believe we
first met when I walked from the home of
my parents on Cherry St. to play street
football a Wally Hall's house, or Paul
Stark's. I seem to recall all of the
above action took place on A street.
Ken was always a pleasant friend, and
whenever I attended a reunion, I looked
forward to seeing the first group standing outside. That group of "talkers" included Ken, Richard Hayes,
and Ted Hand plus wives. I recently saw
Nevada Hand at my Sister-in-law's 90th
birthday bash in Morro Bay. Boy oh boy,
we have lost a lot of good people from
our '42 Class!!! Enough babbling! Please let me offer my deepest, heartfelt
condolences to all members of the Kenneth
Clair Allen family. Even I, whom I always assumed would be eternal, might go
visiting Ken and others including my
gorgeous bride, Marie Adoree Roux Hicks.
God bless all of us.

To all of the Allen Family, My husband and I met Ken when we bought a property from him on Standard St. He carried the morgage and he was a man of his word. We really enjoyed visiting with him when he came by from time to time. Our heartfelt thoughts are with you all. Mike & Linda Hazen
