Laura Lynn Fahr May 8, 1956 - November 8, 2010 Laura Lynn Fahr was born in Kenneth, Missouri. Her parents migrated here to McFarland, CA in 1969. Laura graduated from McFarland High School in 1974. Laura met her sweetheart Rene Salinas in high school and they have spent the past 38 years together. Having no siblings Laura looked to Rene's family and found brothers, Bobby and Richard Salinas, and sisters, Rosie, Sandra and Mary Gloria Salinas. She was a wonderful aunt to her many nieces and nephews and a beautiful mommy to her pets, Ricki, Lucy, Bubba, Joey and Yellow Boy. Laura spoke often of her family back in Missouri and of her cousin, Bubba and Stacey of Bakersfield, CA. She will be missed dearly by her longtime best friend, Kathy Carroll. Laura always had nice things to say and would be the first to ask, "what can I do to help". Her favorite time of year was Thanksgiving, being the first to test taste the dressing. But her best memories will always be the time she spent on the back of her sweetheart Rene's motorcycle. It was Laura's wishes to join her mother, Norma Fahr back in their hometown of Kenneth, Missouri. The Salinas Family wishes to thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.
