LaVeta Morris Obituary

Beth Morris was born in Mountain Park, Oklahoma, on September 28, 1939, and passed away in Bakersfield, California, on August 23, 2015. She graduated from Trona High School in 1957. She is survived by her brother, Benny McCullar; children, Debby (Roy Boykin), Terry Morris (Evelyn Yslas), Michele (Rick Schmidt), Sindy Polm; grandchildren, Jaime (Matt Cuba), Christopher Boykin (fiancee Veronica East), Brent Dearman, Jeff Dearman, Brandyn Hicks, Rhiannon Cockren, Katy Schmidt (fiance Danny Mathis), and Natalie Schmidt. Great-grandchildren, Stephanie Dearman, Paige Dearman, Riley Dearman, Zoe Boykin, Christian Boykin, and Shane Cuba; nieces, Carrie Gillette and Annette Schimmelman; and great-niece, Amber Gillette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Winnie McCullar; husband, Frank Morris; nephew, Cass McCullar; and great-granddaughter, Paisley Cuba.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Park Southwest. For condolences please visit:
