Mary Moser Obituary

Mary Kathryn Moser November 29, 1923 - October 7, 2010 Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12th, at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Rev. Craig Amos of Odyssey Hospice will officiate. Celebration of Life service will be held at Lutheran Church of Prayer at the corner of Panorama & Morning Dr. at 11:00 a.m. Mary Moser (nee Poe) was born in Anaheim, CA to Elmer and Kathryn Poe. She moved to Bakersfield, CA as a young girl and graduated from East Bakersfield High and Kern Co. Jr. College. Mary was married 55 years to Rev. Martin Moser who predeceased her. They had ministries in Montana, Texas, and California. Mary was a longtime member of Lutheran Church of Prayer where she led Bible study and was on the Altar Circle. Mary was a secretary and loving mother: Martha (Charles) Brown of Tucson, AZ, Kathy (Jake) Gallinetti of Clovis, Mark (Sara) Moser, Martin (Dania) Moser, and son, Daniel predeceased her. She has 12 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Her sisters, Betty Wilkinson and Maxine Zeilstra; and brother, Raymond Poe will also miss her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Lutheran Church of Prayer or Odyssey Hospice. To God be the Glory! www.bakersfield.com/obits

I would like to send my condolences to the Moser family. Grandma was sweet and kind, who allowed me to be apart of her family during my medical training. I know she is in Heaven with God.
