Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 9:30 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis Catholic Church. Graveside services will immediately follow at Union Cemetery.
MaryAnn was born August 16, 1932 in Bakersfield, California. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Lorenzo Iturriria, parents Margarete Ansolabehere Lusaretta, Viciente Lusaretta and siblings Bernard and John Lusaretta. She is survived by her son John Iturriria, wife Charee Iturriria, grandsons Shawn and Alex, and daughter Julie Iturriria, as well as nieces and nephews.
MaryAnn graduated from East High School in 1950. She then worked at East High School for 9 years, moved on to Kern Fruit Company and then worked for Best Concrete Pipe. On April 4, 1964, she married her husband Lorenzo Iturriria. They spent many years together raising a family and living in Bakersfield and the Sierra Nevadas. MaryAnn was a good mother and wife who was very hard working and loyal. MaryAnn loved her family and cherished spending time with them while enjoying a nice meal and all talking together. This meant so much to her in her life. She also loved her sweet dogs Gracie and Luke who gave her so much joy. She missed her dear Lorenzo very much and they are dancing in Heaven together.
Pallbearers will be Ben Ansolabehere, Fernando Iturriria, Matt Iturriria, Luis Iturriria, Miguel Iturriria, Paco Iturriria and Jose Mari Mendiburu. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Giacomini and Don Schulte.
Special thanks and love to MaryAnn's loving neighbors Carol, Mark, Juanita and Jesse. Special love to Monica and Patricia who cared for and loved MaryAnn. They have become part of our family. Thank you for Hoffmann Hospice which is a great loving organization and so caring to MaryAnn.

I, Jimmy Smith, grew up with Mary Ann's son, Jonathan Michael Iturriria, in the 1970's - I will never forget Jonathan, from Panama Elementary School, Thompson Junior High, & high school - Also, I know Julie Ann Iturriria.
