Myrna Dunehew Obituary

Born to Arlington (Pete) and Anna (Jerry) Wilkins on January 9th, 1946 in Hanford, California and called to Heaven on February 2nd, 2015.
While attending Corcoran High School, she met the Love of her Life, Billy Joe Dunehew. She was a Wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great- Grandmother not only to her own but to so many who were not blood. She was dedicated to everything that she did. She gave all that she had to whoever was in need. She loved quilting, sewing, yard work and crafting. Her super power was being able to turn nothing into a beautiful something to utilize or just enjoy.
Preceded in death was her loving dog Rascal, her mother Anna when she was very young, father Arlington and brothers Barry and Gene Wilkins.
She leaves behind her dogs, Baby Girl and Taz.
Surviving Myrna is husband Bill Dunehew; brother, Wesley Wilkins; son, Billy (lil Bill) Dunehew of Petal, Mississippi; daughters, Leslie (Sis) Daugherty and husband Jeff of Caneyville, Kentucky; Dawn (Squeak) Wolford and husband Rodney, Jerrie (Dinker Pie) Ramay and husband Beanie all of Bakersfield; along with 13 grandchildren: Chad, Melanie, D.J., Steven, Travis, Becca, Manda, Zack and Tiny; step-grandchildren, Brandy, Josh, Bryce and Madeliene and 14 great-grandchildren. Lastly she leaves behind her dearest friend, 2nd mother who loved her unconditionally for over 40+ years Donna Cox and her best friend Barbara Ortiz (partner in crime).
A celebration of Myrna's Life will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2015, 1:00pm at Almondale Park, 5501 Verdugo, Bakersfield 93312.
Come join us, everyone is welcome to come, please bring your memories and be prepared to share!
The family wishes to Thank the RT's and Nurses at Kern Rehab. Dr. Yen and entire staff on the 2nd floor in ICU at San Joaquin Hospital.
