Raul "Dee Dee" Hiracheta 1961 - 2010 Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, & Uncle Visitation for Raul "Dee Dee" Hiracheta will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 5-9 p.m. Graveside will be held at Wasco Cemetery on Friday, September 17, at 10:00 a.m. Raul "Dee Dee" was born on September 10, 1961 to Antonio and Audelia Hiracheta in Bakersfield, CA. Raul went to be with our Lord on September 6, 2010 in Wasco, CA. Raul is preceded in death by his father, Antonio C. Hiracheta, and his brother, Johnny Hiracheta. He is survived by his mother, Audelia Hiracheta; his nine children; Nicole, Rosemary, Joshua, Dennis, Denise, James, Bobby, Daniel, and Jesse Hiracheta; brothers and sisters, Tony, Jose Luis, Arthur, Robert, Yolanda, Irma Macias, Petra, and Peter. He was a grandfather of six - soon to be seven; and had numerous nieces and nephews. Raul grew up in Wasco, CA. He and his family moved to Taft, CA in 1989. He worked for over 15 years in the oil fields and was well known as "shoulders" for all who knew him out there. He was always a hard working man. Raul was highly spirited and no matter what the circumstances were he always had a smile on his face. He loved his mother and his children dearly. Although he was big and strong he had a heart of gold. He was very kind and respectful, but very playful with everyone especially his children, nieces, and nephews. We will all miss seeing him, talking with him, and laughing with him. He will forever be with us in spirit and in our hearts.
