Reynard Dobbs Obituary

Reynard (Buck) Dobbs 1925 - 2010 Buck was born on October 15, 1925 in Carney, Oklahoma to Roy and Prudie Dobbs. Buck passed away on November 13, 2010. He grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma and proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a gunner with the Naval Air Crew on the U.S.S. Kadashan Bay in WWII. He married Bette Troxel in 1945 and they had one son, Mike who preceded them in death in 1989. They moved from Oklahoma to Bakersfield in 1953, and Buck worked many years in the oilfield as a salesman. He retired with wonderful friendships and many entertaining stories. He always retained his great sense of humor. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be truly missed by everyone who was blessed to have known him.
