The day I received the call that Dave passed away - a giant hole appeared in my heart. I to this day remember him fondly as a great wrestler but more importantly as a greater person. When I run into some of the boys one of the first people we talk about is Dave. He left a lasting impact on us all not only as a wrestler, but as a human being. RIP brother - you are greatly missed and even more greatly appreciated.

To Dorothy and Frank.

In your darkest hours of pain and loss

Believe I am always near,

Sending thoughts of love and strength

For someone I hold dear.

Silently I wait nearby

While time prepares to heal

...the emptiness that sometimes comes

...the heartache that you feel.

My deepest sympathy

At this time of loss I send,

Lots of hugs and support

For you my aunt, my friend...

My thoughts are with you also Frank

Take your time to heal

Believe that your pain will ease

So you again can feel.

May your Angel be with both of you.

We go through life so often,

not stopping to enjoy the day.

And we take each one for granted,

As we travel on our way.

For in your pain and sorrow,

An Angel's Kiss will help you through,

This kiss is very private,

For it is meant for only you.

We never stop to measure,

Anything we just might miss.

But if the wind should blow by softly,

You'll feel an Angel's Kiss.

A kiss that is sent from heaven,

A kiss from up above.

A kiss that is very special,

From someone that you love.

So when your heart is heavy,

And filled with tears and pain,

And no one can console you,

Remember once again...

About the one you grieve for,

Because you sadly miss.

And the gentle breeze you took for granted,

Was just an Angel's Kiss.

Be strong!!!

Leslie,Donna and I have already spoken to you about Dave, but I do better writing down my thoughts.I know he had his problems and he could make Dylan and your life miserable at times but he truly loved the both of you.We would talk in the lockeroom about everything under the sun but the conversations always came back to our families and how great they are.Leslie, you and Dave were like mine and Donna's baby brother and sister and Dylan like our little nephew. We know it will be hard for you until the grieving stops but have no doubts in your heart that Dave loved you dearly. We all loved Dave he always gave 110% in the ring, but I will miss him because he was so damn funny. All the boys send you and Dylan their love.We will talk soon.

I've known Dave almost all of my life. He was a great friend and a great competitor. I wish Dave was still here. He will be sorely missed by many.

Dave's favorite poet, Jim Morrison once wrote "Inside the dream, button sleep around your body like a glove. Free now of space and time. Free to dissolve in the streaming summer"

Dear Leslie:

My husband, son and I send you our sincere condolences. I best knew Dave in elementary school. My fondest memory of Dave is the way he used to make my mother laugh when we were younger. I do not know your beliefs but I truly believe my mother greeted him with open arms in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your beautiful son and Dave's family.
