Not sure what to say?

The day I received the call that Dave passed away - a giant hole appeared in my heart. I to this day remember him fondly as a great wrestler but more importantly as a greater person. When I run into some of the boys one of the first people we talk about is Dave. He left a lasting impact on us all not only as a wrestler, but as a human being. RIP brother - you are greatly missed and even more greatly appreciated. Max Thrasher

To Dorothy and Frank.

In your darkest hours of pain and loss
Believe I am always near,
Sending thoughts of love and strength
For someone I hold dear.
Silently I wait nearby
While time prepares to heal
...the emptiness that sometimes comes
...the heartache that you feel.
My deepest sympathy
At this time of loss I send,
Lots of hugs and support
For you my aunt, my friend...

My thoughts are with you also...

We go through life so often,
not stopping to enjoy the day.
And we take each one for granted,
As we travel on our way.
For in your pain and sorrow,
An Angel's Kiss will help you through,
This kiss is very private,
For it is meant for only you.
We never stop to measure,
Anything we just might miss.
But if the wind should blow by softly,
You'll feel an Angel's Kiss.
A kiss that is sent from heaven,
A kiss from up above....

Leslie,Donna and I have already spoken to you about Dave, but I do better writing down my thoughts.I know he had his problems and he could make Dylan and your life miserable at times but he truly loved the both of you.We would talk in the lockeroom about everything under the sun but the conversations always came back to our families and how great they are.Leslie, you and Dave were like mine and Donna's baby brother and sister and Dylan like our little nephew. We know it will be hard for you...

Leslie,

I am shocked to hear the news of Dave's passing. My family and myself would like to pass along our sympathy and prayers to you and your family. May God be with you and give you the support needed at this time.

your friend,
Mike Edgar (from Woodcroft)

I've known Dave almost all of my life. He was a great friend and a great competitor. I wish Dave was still here. He will be sorely missed by many.
Dave's favorite poet, Jim Morrison once wrote "Inside the dream, button sleep around your body like a glove. Free now of space and time. Free to dissolve in the streaming summer"

Leslie,
I was truly shocked and saddened to hear the news about Dave. I have known you both since high school and Dave as far back as elementary school. I hope you find strength and support from the love of your family and friends during this difficult time.
You and Dylan are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dolores

Dear Leslie,
I attended high school with both you and Dave. My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy. We will keep you and your son in our thoughts and prayers.
