The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road), Timonium, MD 21093 on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Hunts Memorial United Methodist Church, 1912 Old Court Road at W. Joppa Road Riderwood, MD 21139 on Wednesday, February 23 at 11:30 AM. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in Mrs. Eichelberger's name to Hunts Memorial United Methodist church, PO Box 332 Riderwood, MD 21139 or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 W. Evergreen Ave., Suite 303 Chicago, IL 60642. A guest book is available at www.lemmonfuneralhome.com

Joan was a great neighbor to my mom who passed away last year.. She took care of my mom's tomatoes and plants whenever mom took a trip. She looked after my mom in many ways. The world will miss her.

To the family, Joan was very much a part of the memories of my life. From our early grade school days up to the last time we had lunch when she still visited York. My wife, Evelyn was her Maid of Honor and in turn, she was ours. Joan became part of our social life and travels when Ike was in the service.We became closer when they moved into our York neighborhood.
When someone was so much a part of your life, those fond memories are cherished for ever and that person is really never gone.
May each fond memory that you have remain as a precious keepsake forever in your heart.

I am so sorry to learn of Cousin Joan's death. She was such a warm, fun person and loved her family. Growing up, we had many good times and I loved visiting Uncle Evan, Aunt Helen, Joan, Bill and Maxine.
She will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts. She was one of a kind and had a rich life filled with love.
May you, her children, keep those wonderful memories in your heart.
