Ghattes Todd Obituary

Todd Michael Ghattas, 38, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on July 10, 2016 at Meritus Medical Center. Todd enjoyed the best life had to offer and encouraged everyone to do so too. He was passionate about his family, especially his wife and two children, his work, his friends, and his hobbies. He was confident when others were skeptical, he had stamina when others were ready to give up, he saw potential in the greatest challenges- his energy had no limits. He loved people and could strike up a conversation with anyone- young, old, longtime friend, or someone he just met on the street. People loved being around him because he made life look easy. Todd enjoyed golfing, fishing, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. He was an avid Porsche enthusiast and collector. He had a love for travel and culture. In his spare time, he also assisted in coaching his son's lacrosse team. He was born on February 20, 1978. He lives on in the memory of his mother and father, Asad and Velda Ghattas, his wife, Hannah Chambers Ghattas, his two children, Owen Michael, 8, and Abigail Marie, 4, his brother, Trent Marcus Ghattas, and his sister, Treva Ghattas Mikucki. Todd graduated from Manhattan College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing and a minor in Psychology. He was Managing Principal at Hyperspace. A viewing will be held at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, on Thursday July 14, 2016 fr5om 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

Heartfelt condolences to the entire Ghattas family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Be comforted by the incredible legacy Todd leaves behind by being the decent, wonderful human being he was. A great husband, father, son, brother, neighbor and friend, who left us too soon. He will be greatly missed but always remembered!
Please let us know if there is anything we may do for you.

With sympathy and affection,
