A prayer service will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 4 PM at the Billow Falls Chapel located at 1907 23rd Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Friends may call Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 2- 4 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charitable organization of your choice. (Billow FALLS Chapel,

I went to Library school with Erica and know that she was a really bright, funny, caring and all-round special person. My heart goes out to North and Rowan. May she find rest and relief from suffering.

Even though I never had the chance to know Erica, my heart goes out to her family, and my dear friend, Patricia, who has endured so much. May she be given the unyielding strength to go on and live with what she has, and know that Eica would want no less for her, and know that her place here is so appreciated to all that know her. I'm so saddened to know that Erica has gone on, but glad that we had these ten years to keep her with us in the world. We live on in the memories that we make and the lives we affect. Erica lives vibrantly within her friends' hearts.

I had not seen Erica in years but she still influences me -- from how I interact with and care for my cats to phrases I use and the way I think about things. The phrase "it is hard to know about things," yes! I remember this too. She was a good friend to me and I cherish the time I had with her and my memories of our days at Miami.

Erica was indeed a lovely person. She was someone you could laugh or cry with and know that either emotion was ok with her. It's never that our loved ones have gone before us, it's that they have left us behind. I am sure that Erica is dancing on clouds with angels as she watches over her family. Janie- KSU Chem/Biochem

How sad we are that Erica is not here with all of us. I know she is the brightest star in the the sky for ever more. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal." Dear North and family,
Even though I never got the opportunity to meet Erica in person, she and I had a few conversations re: her challenges with neuroendocrine pc. I too had this type of cancer. I think we met through Pancan via the internet. She was always very helpful and informative with me.

We will always remember Erica for the Saturday night bad cinema nights, MST3000, the Renaissance Fairs, her gentle love. We send our love and thoughts to North and Rowan. North and Erica made grad school for our family full of memories of human love and gentle care. Nathan and Taylor miss her as well.

I first met Erica as my coworker at the National Institutes of Health. She was a great coworker and even better friend. Erica took such a delight in living and we will truly miss her. Our condolences go out to her family.
