Leonard B Robinson

April 12, 2025

because we connected over shared interests and chatted on Facebook, which I truly miss. He was kind enough to plan a surprise in the mail, but sadly, I never received it due to his passing. Despite never meeting in person, he made a lasting impact on my life and many others. His kindness and positivity touched not only the children he visited but also the parents who cherished those moments for the children that passed. Even in his absence, his legacy lives on. We were all better because we knew him and in that (Batman Rises)

This photo of Lenny B. Robinson was taken on August 16, 2015, in the Flatwoods, WV Walmart parking lot. Photo timestamp: 6:10 p.m., only a few hours before the accident on I-70. Lenny took time to answer questions and show features of his batmobile to onlookers.

Leonard,
In your face...I saw the Face of God...Merciful, Empathetic with Action and pure Love.
Yes, Everyone, as a retired teacher of severely impaired students, I will testify the truth: You have two choices in life #1 Create in Love #2 Destroy in Hate.
The funny thing is that Hate can't destroy Hate. Only Love can do that. Leonard was LOVE INCARNATE! To his timeless Spirit, I ask for his continual encouragement in endeavoring to be loving in everything I do. I know you are listening Leonard, I feel it..and am smiling. Thank you, my friend.
Love Eternal,
John

We had the very good fortune to meet Lenny on Halloween 2014 in New York City when our daughter was coincidentally dressed as bat girl. He was so very kind and generous and such a lovely man. The world has an empty space without him. Our condolences to his three brave sons. He loved and I am sure still loves them so very much.

I did not personally know Lenny, but my brother Alex (a luxury auto dealer) knew of him and told me about him. I have worked with disadvantaged and terminally ill children myself and was touched by Lenny's dedication and heartfelt work with children. I imagine he has inspired so many with his uplifting and selfless ways. He seemed to have a great sense of humor too and brought smiles to countless little faces I'm sure. I just want to send the family my most sincere love and gratitude for his contributions to others and say thanks Lenny, for embracing what is truly important in this life, being a light and ray of hope for others. God bless you.

You lived your life as you saw fit and it just so happened that your choice was to be the light at the end of the tunnel for terminally ill children. Your life is an example to all. You are the true example of selflessness and I pray others follow the example you have set into play. Your life met a tragic end but you will never be forgotten and your memory will live on.

To a hero who was very kind and compassion and filled with love to sick children. Lenny I want to thank you for being the person you was to all people who knew you. Thank you for being so kind to my grandson sending autographed pics and toys. They was so excited to get a gifts from BATMAN. I love to post anything about BATMAN one your page and I did it often. It hurts my heart that a great soul was taken away so tragically. He was an inspiration to so many children who knew & felt in their hearts that he was a true Superhero. I hope that his spirit will live on & that others continue with his cause to help those children that are in need of hope, happiness & love. I cry every time I read about Mr. Robinson's passing. I hope his family knows how much he has touched other people's lives in such an intimate & amazing way. Rest in peace, Batman, may you be live on forever in those that remember & love you.

Mr. Robinson heard about my daughter who has severe hearing loss and was a huge Batman Fan! After reading her essay on why Batman was her role model, he came by our home in his Batmobile and surprised her! It was a day she will never forget, meeting her superhero, having Batman in her room and sign his name on her wall! Thank you for not only making her dream come true but dreams for countless of other children all over! A true man of God and an incredible job well done! Rest easy! To the Robinson Family:
My sincere condolences to you on the untimely death of Mr. Lenny Robinson. I first noticed the contributions to society that Mr. Robinson was making when I saw a television segment where he visited sick children in the hospital spreading joy and laughter to one and all.
The world has been made a better place by his presence here on earth and I'm sure God Almighty has welcomed him openly into Heaven's paradise. His lord said unto him, Well done thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of the lord. Matthew 25:21.

I met Mr. Robinson just Friday, and even then I did not see his face. Batman came to the child care center at our church, Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Charleston, W.Va. He made quite an impression. I was touched by his love for the children. We were shocked to hear of his death. The family is in our prayers.

August 18, 2015

Thank you so much Mr Robinson. It is so good to know that there are still selfless, kind, wonderful people like you who gave so much of yourself so that others less fortunate could be happy, even if just for a brief moment. No, God did not take you, He doesn't cause us pain . You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Your reward will be Paradise.
