Doris moved to Maine with her husband of 47 years, the late Roger Towse Robinson, in 1948. Together they owned and operated the family farm in north Lubec for many years. She was secretary of Christian Temple Woman's Group and Lubec Women's Club. She loved to travel and throughout the years she had visited many of the nation's 50 states. Doris touched the hearts of many and will be remembered as a hardworking, strong willed, determined individual who always was looking to help others and constantly put the needs of her family first. I remember Doris taking the time to make me feel welcome during the summer when my parents spent their
Time in Lubec. I was just a kid and the adults spent their time working on the farm, so it was a treat to have her
company.

Lance, Larry and the rest of Doris' family. What a wonderful lady Doris was. How she ever put up with our antics growing up baffles me. I guess that's part of what made her a special person. Sorry for your loss

Grandmie Doris will be forever cherished in our hearts. She may be gone, but never fogotten. She was a strong willed determined woman, who was set in her ways and never strayed from what she believed was right.

Doris was a wonderful woman and she is missed. In recognition of her service to the West Quoddy Head Light Keepers' Association, we have ordered a name plate in her honor, which will be displayed on the "In Memory Of" board in the front lobby of the Visitors Center. Our deepest sympathy to family and friends of Doris.

To the Robinson family: Over the last 50 years we had a lot of good times with Doris. Between Christian Temple and Athletic and Music Boosters, we spent a lot of time together. She had two boys in music and we had two girls. It didn't matter what the fund raiser was, she was always right there to pitch in. My condolences to the family. Dodo Farmer

To the family,

My prayers and sympathies go out to you. I remember Doris as a glass half full type of person, she saw the best in people and in the situations that were presented to her. As others have noted she never hesitated to to help others or involve herself in activities that were for the good of the community.

She will be missed by many but most of all by her family to whom she gave so much. Bless you all.

Doris was an integral part of the Lubec community for many years. She was a wonderful mother, always involved in her children's school life, and ready to volunteer at whatever causes came along that needed her. It is people like Doris that are not easily replaced when they expire. My condolences to all the family---especially Judy, Lance, and Larry.
