Dear Soderberg family,

I was a co-worker of Troy’s who within the past couple of months worked closely with him on some marketing projects. He was such a delight to work with and so accommodating and helpful. His creativity and professionalism spoke volumes. Troy was a very quiet person but when he had something to say, it was worth listening to. Please know how much he will be missed by his work family here at Sonny’s.

To our whole family,
Troy was brought back into our lives when he moved to Plantaion and randomly walked in to my daughter's place of work. We like to think this was a true act of God. We truly loved and enjoyed him at our family gatherings and we all so adored him. We consider ourselves very blessed to have reunited with him. This was a true blessing for all of us. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all of us. Aunt Sharron, Uncle Eric, Nicole, and the rest of us... our hearts are with you. Love Denise, John, Rianna, Greg, Christopher, Vincent and Kristina

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL HIS PARENTS AND SISTER THAT I WAS WITH TROY RIGHT AFTER THE ACCIDENT. I HELD HIS HAND TELLING HIM TO HOLD ON AND DON'T LEAVE THIS EARTH. THINK ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AND THINK POSITIVE. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS HELPS, BUT HE WAS NOT ALONE AT THAT SCENE. HE HAD ME AND I WAS HOLDING HIS HAND UNTIL THE MEDICS GOT THERE. IF YOU WISH TO TALK, YOU CAN EMAIL ME AT [email protected] I AM SO TRULY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS!

To all lucky enough to know Troy, I send my deepest sympathies. From my sophomore year at Hermon, I have had the privelege of calling him my best friend. I had the honor of being welcomed into his family, and the pleasure of having him welcomed into mine. I still consider these two families connected and I'll be here for whatever is needed. It's hard to stop the flood of memories since I have so few that don't include him. We are brothers, I love him, and I will miss him greatly. As my aunt put it, "There's one less really cool person in the world."

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Soderberg
I know there are no words that you would like to hear right now more than "This didn't happen!" I had the pleasure until last Friday to work next to your son Troy on a daily basis. He was not only I kind person, and a coworker that was always a pleasure to work with, but also a brilliant professional, always bringing his expertise and know-how to projects and our everyday work. He was a man of few words, but the few he spoke were of absolute clarity, he was very funny and I loved his wicked sense of humor. I am the oldest of six children and I lost a sister, her husband and my niece in a boating accident in Miami about ten years ago, I know what my parents went through and although it's in no way a consolation, I wanted to respectfully share it with you. Our love and mutual support kept us "glued together" as a family and still does today. So it is with a very heavy heart that I share your incomprehensible loss.

My deepest and sincerest condolences
