ALBERT R. WARD, JR., age 81 passed away on Friday December 2, 2016 at his daughter's residence in Croydon after a lengthy illnes surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in the Juniata Park section of Phila., he lived in Croydon for the past 30 years. Al worked as a machinist at Adelphia Button Co. in Juniata Park for 30 years. He was an Army veteran.Beloved husband of the late Charleen Ward ( nee Gaskill ); devoted father of Teresa A. Ward, Kim Ward, Leo Ward ( Doreen ), Kathleen Whalen ( the late Joseph ), Joan Ann Haughey (Michael ), John Scanlon ( Helena ), Robert Britten, Gregory Britten, the late Mary Derricks ( Joel ) and Patricia Farrell ( the late Raymond ); brother of Thelma Adei and the late Marlene Templeton; also survived by 19 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday December 7, 2016 from 9:15am-10:15am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church 601 Bristol Pk. Bensalem, Pa. 19021 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30am. Rite of Committal Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, Pa.
