Anthony Sanchez Sr., 67 of Lampasas, TX died Friday September 25, 2015 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Marble Falls, TX. Anthony was born June 28, 1948 in Lampasas the son of Atilano Sanchez Sr. and Juanita (Rendon) Sanchez. He grew up in Lampasas and later served in the U.S. Army Airborne Division as a paratrooper. He married Rosa Salazar. Tony was self employed as a brick mason by trade, working on construction jobs in Central Texas area and earlier in his career he worked big jobs in North Carolina. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, pool, building things from wood, gardening. Survivors are his wife, Rosa Sanchez of Lampasas3 sons; Anthony Sanchez Jr. and wife Eleta of Marble FallsAaron Sanchez of LampasasAtilano Francisco Sanchez and Lilly of Nolanville2 daughters; Rachel Ramos and husband Richie of Harker HeightsYvonne Sanchez of LampasasGrandchildren are; Ryan, Darren, Rebekah, Alexandra, Avery, Nathan, Cross, Selby and Jalias2 great-grandchildren; Darren and KendylSisters; Ann Karr of Houston, Henrietta Maldonado of Marble Falls, Dora Moreno, Lupe Loya and Lilly Olivares all of Lampasas, Olivia Martinez and Delia Dominguez both of Austin, Teri Sanchez of KansasBrothers; Atilano Sanchez Jr. of Lampasas, Arthur Sanchez of Marble Falls, David Sanchez of Garland and Ray Sanchez of LampasasTony was preceded in death by his parents, by his nephew, Eddie and by son-in-law, Aubrey.Visitation will be Tuesday September 29, 2015 from 5-7 pm at Grace Fellowship. Funeral service Wednesday September 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Fellowship. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
