Buddy you are truly love and going to be truly miss. When I first heard I thought my sister hit the jackpot but instead we hit a bigger jackpot. A jackpot we will never forget. A jackpot that always giving unconditional. A jackpot that the Lord will continue on protecting. Love you Buddy. Gone to soon.

MCLENDON, BENJAMIN "Buddy" WILLIAM JR. (AGE 47) OF WALDORF, MDSuddenly, on Sunday, January 10, 2016, Benjamin W. McLendon entered into eternal life.Benjamin William McLendon, Jr. was born October 25, 1968 in Washington, DC. Benjamin nickname is "Buddy he was single but had a girlfriend Jerri who he adored. When Buddy was younger he enjoyed playing football and basketball and enjoyed running track. Buddy was funny, loving, devoted, caring patience and would do anything to help anyone. We were proudest when Buddy became a Rigger and an Oiler at Corinthians Construction. Buddy loved being a Bartender at the Game Room and he also worked Security there. Buddy had two beautiful daughters Jaelyn and Morgan Mclendon. Buddy was very proud of his daughter Jaelyn when she started college. Buddy had a lot of people in his life that had a lot of influence on his life Stephanie & Bill, his brother Mark Moore, his Aunt Mary Brockman who he loved dearly. Buddy was loved and adored by all that knew him. Buddy we will miss you. Buddy family: Mother-Eula Harriston (deceased), Father- Benjamin W. McLendon (deceased), Adopted parents Stephanie Majors Bill Majors, Brothers – Mark Moore, Mark McLendon, Wayne Harriston, Michael Harriston, Keith Harriston, Kevin Harriston, James Harriston, Freddie Harriston (deceased). Sisters – Anita Smith, Sharon Hill, Sisters-in-Law: Janice Moore, Grand Parents – Marian New (deceased), Melvin New (deceased). Aunts – Mary Brockman, Myra New, Paulette New, Janet New, Robin New, Terry New, Evelyn New (deceased), JoAnn New (deceased). Uncles - Thomas Brockman, Darryl McLendon, Peter New, Harry Campbell (deceased), Michael New (deceased), Russel New (deceased). Nieces/Nephews – Destiny Moore, Kierstyen Moore, Michael Duckett; Great Nephew – Terrell Moore. Also a Host of Cousins and Friends. His services will be held from 9am until time of service 11am, Saturday, January 16, 2016, in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, MD 20640. Interment Heritage Memorial Cemetery, Waldorf, MD.
