Keith was such a good man and friend to me and mother. He would always tell the two of us to be careful if the weather was bad. He was such a dear sweet man.

Carl "Keith"'s Obituary

Carl Keith Meddock, 82, of Waka passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024.  Viewing will be on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 (9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.) and family visitation (6:00p.m.- 8:00p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.  Funeral services are Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Cornerstone Methodist Church in Spearman at 10:30a.m. with Rev. Mindy McClanhan officiating.  Burial will follow at the Holt Cemetery.

Keith was born on June 24, 1942 in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Bert Meddock and Lois Keith Meddock.  Keith and Linda Rogers were married on December 14,1995 in Perryton, Texas.  He was a member of the Cornerstone Methodist Church in Spearman.

Keith owned and operated an Implement Dealership and was extremely well known and respected in the Oklahoma and Texas panhandle for his line of work.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Keith is survived by his wife, Linda of the home and his children, Joy Dawn Garcia of Taos, NM., Michael Meddock of Russelville, Ark., Ellis Meddock of Kingsville ,Ga.,Emily Cummins of London, Ark., Roger Close of Spearman, TX., and Danny Close of Waka, TX., sisters, Evelyn and Elaine Meddock of Cresent OK.  He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren.

Family suggests memorial to the Cornerstone Methodist Church Memorial Fund and Hansford County Hospice, 707 Roland, Spearman, Texas, 79081.
