Durwood's Obituary
MARION, VA
Durwood Adrian McKinney II, age 52, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, VA.
Durwood was born in Beckley, WV to the late Durwood & Joyce Orman McKinney on May 28, 1970. He is also preceded in death by a brother-in-law Tom Southern.
He is survived by his daughter Alicia Dancy; granddaughters Emma and Khloe Dancy; five sisters Linda Southern of MD, Celeste Hendricks of WV, Celia McKinney of NC, Scarlett McKinney of KY, and Jennifer McKinney of Abingdon; mother of his daughter Melanie Barrett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Entombment services will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Rose Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum with Father Rolo Castillo officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley’s Funeral Home of Marion is serving the McKinney Family.
