To all the family- I am sorry to hear of Eds passing. I knew him from the Groton Senior Center. He always had a big smile and a cheerful word to brighten our day. I didn't realize he served in the Vietnam war. My brother did as well, but never came home. It is for that reason I feel a special connection with anyone who served during that time. Thank you for your service Ed. He also spoke fondly of his family, he was so proud of all of you. I am sorry for your loss....

Nancy, Susan, Debbie and Eddie, I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. It has been a long time since our time as neighbors in South Carolina but I have very found memories of you all and your mom and dad. My prayers are with you as you travel this most difficult road

Ed,
You were a legend, a wonderful human being, and quite a character. Although we hadn't seen much of each other over these past years, when I did see you it was always a good time.
You pursued your Associates Degree in Culinary arts; such a wonderful accomplishment. I remember visiting in SC and seeing you study for First lass Petty officer. You always strived for better. You made and decorated awesome cakes.
Love you and know that you truly are in...
