Giorgio G. Gallara

1934 - 2017

Giorgio G. Gallara, on October 13, 2017, of Philadelphia, formerly of Caccamo, Italy. Age 83.

Beloved husband of Rosaria (nee Stellato). Devoted father of Joseph (Sabina), Carmelina, Maria and Domenick. Dear brother of Mario, Benito, Angelo, Rosario and Sr. Geltrude. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gallara was a very hard-working man who loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandkids. He worked as a butcher for Esposito Meats for over 40 years.

There will be a viewing from 9 to 10am Wednesday morning at Stella Maris Church, 2901 S. 10th St., Phila., PA 19148.

Funeral Mass 10am in church. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.

Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Mr. Gallara’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
