Not sure what to say?

I was quite involved in the Danielson Schultz / Plante& Moran merger in the 19 eighties. I will never forget how Glenn after learning what a great firm P&M was jumped on board and was very instrumental in making that a very successful merger and helping make P&M what a great firm it is today. Roger Imeson , Glenn and others should feel proud. Rest In Peace Glenn. Your contribution to many peoples lives was tremendous.
Thank you, Bill Matthews

I was saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. He was a great man and a tireless worker. I truly enjoyed being his administrative assistant for fourteen years at Plante Moran.

My thoughts and prayers for Glen and his family. Glen was a wonderful partner of all of us at the firm. He and I personally had many smiles together arguing who was taller! his personal competence and strong moral compus were an inspiration to all who worked with him. May he rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Test family and all of Glenn's friends. I worked with Glenn on real estate project while I was at the Loomis Law Firm. Glenn was a great guy and pleasure to work with. I learned a lot from him. It was an honor to serve him and his family in my role now as Executive Director of Hospice of Lansing. We were glad to assist in helping him come home to Michigan.

My thoughts are with the Test family. Glenn was a special guy and a great partner at Plante Moran. His efforts to build the real estate team will be enjoyed by many for years to come.

I am sure I speak for many when I say that I will always remember Glenn for his kindness and count it a privilege to have worked with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Our deepest sympathies to the Test family. Glenn was a wonderful mentor, Plante Moran colleague and friend. I will remember him and miss him with fondness. May god bless him and may he rest in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Test family. We will miss Glenn; but we will not forget him.

Deepest sympathies to the Test family. I enjoyed working with Glenn for many years at Plante Moran. May he rest in peace.

Obituary

Glenn's Obituary

Glenn Allen Test, born October 18, 1946, departed this world on June 20, 2014, after waging a courageous battle against cancer. Glenn was a long-time resident of East Lansing, Michigan, and most recently,at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida where he spent his winters, and the last year of his life. Glenn was a graduate of Michigan State University, senior partner at Plante Moran, retiring in 2004 and former treasurer at Walnut Hills Country Club. Glenn loved golfing as much as he loved crunching numbers, and was happiest when playing with his friends at Walnut Hills or Black Diamond. Glenn was born to Alvin Russell Test, Sr. and Lillie Hunter Test in Monroe, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin R. Test, Sr.; brother, Alvin R. Test, Jr.; sister Sandra Winston; sister-in-law Sandra Test; and brother-in-law Dana Castonguay. He is survived by his mother, Lillie Test; brothers Thomas Test and Larry Test; sisters Jean Womack, Roberta (Peter) Myers; and June Castonguay and brother-in-law, Dale Winston. Although Glenn did not have any children, he was a father figure and mentor to his many nieces, nephews and family members: Jennifer and Mike Marx (Mandy and Shannon); Amy and Steve Eiben (Caleb); Lauryn and Tim Pendergrass (Lily and Vaughn); Matt and Kara Womack; Sara & Drew Watros; Richie Test; Courtney and Alex Womack; Abby Castonguay; and Jackson and Norah Myers. Glenn passed on the "Test" legacy of unconditional love to all, and he will be remembered for his wisdom and generosity. A celebration of Glenn's life will be held Tuesday, June 24, at Walnut Hills Country Club from 4-8 p.m., with a time of sharing beginning at 6:30 p.m. We hope many of his friends will be willing to share your thoughts and memories. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. If you choose to send flowers as a memorial, they should be delivered to Walnut Hills on Tuesday. Friends may sign Glenn's guestbook at www.palmerbush.com.
