Not sure what to say?

Hi Grandpa, I just saw two cardinals fly by, a male and a female, I like to think that it was you and Grandma Rose flying by to say hi and let me know you found each other again. I love you, talk to you soon.

Dad, you will be missed! You’ve raised such an amazing family who in turn have raised some amazing children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I will always remember sitting on your patio at the Lighthouse and watching Sam learn to fish and watching Nessie run and jump off that dock at least 20 times. She couldn’t get enough of it! We also shared a love of birds, and I always loved watching how they flocked to your feeders. I will think of you whenever a cardinal or hummingbird flies by...

Grandpa, the most beautiful thought is that you are back with Grandma Rose, laughing and smiling and looking down on the amazing family you created. I’ll miss you more than words can describe, but I know you are even closer now. Thank you for showing us what love truly is and for never making us feel less than anything. For making me feel like the prettiest girl in the room. For coming to my basketball games. For being you. My memories for you will last a life time, and everything I do I know...

I only had the chance to meet Grandpa Mudge a handful of times, but it was easy to see the warmth and kindness my wife always spoke about. She loved him deeply and often shared stories that showed how special he was to her. You will be deeply missed, but know you’ll be watching over all of your great-grandchildren!

Grandpa Mudge,

We love you so much. We are blessed with the most incredible grandpa! Thank your for all that you have given us- most importantly, our amazing Mudge/Souphis/Schwartz family. We have the most amazing family in the world because of you. Thank you for being a constant presence in each of our lives. Thank you for coming to our games, thank you for knowing the names of our friends, thank you for knowing the little things about us, it made us feel so special in your eyes!...

To an amazing and loving Grandpa, one of my biggest supporters. Whether it’s seeing a bachelor button in my garden, watching a game, or fixing something around the house, I’ll think of you and smile.

To the best Grandpa I could ask for. Memories of fishing up north, playing catch in the yard, to watching and laughing at all of your crazy competitive grandkids play basketball, flag football, and volleyball at every family gathering. Without you and your strength through hard times none of what we have would be possible. We love you and miss you. - Michael Jr, Julia, and Stanley.

To the best grandpa and great grandpa, we love you so much. I am so proud my son carries your name. I will remember you always, but especially when seeing a freighter, watching a Tigers or Lions game, or in the garden. Love, Olivia, Tyler, James, and Thomas

You are finally reunited with our beautiful Grandma Rose — what a joyful thought, knowing you're together again. Thank you for always greeting me with that warm, “Hi lady, don’t you look fabulous!” and for filling our family gatherings with your stories, sitting back & proudly observing all of us grandchildren playing, and your steady love.
I will always think of you when I’m peacefully sitting by the water, watching the freighters glide by — a quiet moment that somehow always belonged...
